Give Me an F

Give me an "F!"

F is for FUTURE

As in your FUTURE marriage; not your current marriage. If you're currently married, this site is not for you.

Try www.loveandrespect.com or www.familylife.com or www.themarriageplaybook.com instead.

Bye bye. I'm really not kidding. Married people not welcome. Go with God, but go.

UNLESS you've got unmarried kids that are college age or older. In that case, you're welcome to look around and see if there might be something for them here. And there is, because FMU was founded to help college and career singles prepare for the awesome calling of marriage AHEAD OF TIME.

If that's you, don't be suprised if you feel a tingle of joy run up your spine because you've finally come home. Welcome!

Give Me an M

Give me an "M!"

M is for MARRIAGE

Forget about the "F" word. The unmentionable word in the "Sex and the City" world we inhabit today is the M-word - marriage. At one time it represented the ultimate commitment. Now it's more likely to represent the ultimate joke, disappointment or fear of most college and career singles.

Fear no more! FMU was established to give college and career singles a more accurate understanding of what marriage really is, what it really offers, and what really makes it work. Doesn't that sound like stuff you'd like to know BEFORE you even found yourself in love with the one you thought might be...er... "the one."

Give Me a U

Give me a "U!"

U is for UNIVERSITY

FMU isn't about counseling; it's about training; coaching; education; enlightenment; understanding. Today's culture says you have to have 12 years of education and then go to college if you want to have a career of any substance. Why would you want to spend so many years preparing for your career and then just expect a few pre-marital counseling sessions to prepare you for marriage?

Discovering the right career track for you doesn't happen by accident and neither does finding the right person to marry. FMU exists to guide college and career singles in discerning God's will in regards to their future marriage. Even if you're the kind of person that's generally made it on your own, everyone could use a little help in making the only life-decision in our culture that's still suppose to be permanent. Are we making sense?
